Making Zimbra Desktop the default email program

When you click on an email link in your browser or another application, the default email program for your computer opens.  

You can make Zimbra Desktop the primary application to use. When you click on email links in other programs, the compose window for the default account in Zimbra Desktop opens.

To set this up:  

  1. Select the General Preferences.

  2. In the Other section, for System Defaults, check the box Use Zimbra Desktop as default mail application.
